Hi I'm Jared

I'm bilingual. I'm a hard worker. I'm a great dancer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I run a service-oriented company in the agricultural industry. I have been in the industry since I graduated from college and I have grown to love it and have learned a lot from it. I have the opportunity to associate with a vast array of different individuals from many different backgrounds and ethnicities. I am able to keep my language skills honed by conversing in both English and Spanish nearly every day of the week. I enjoy the outdoors and connecting with nature. I love horses and the freedom they give. I also love to dance and have been doing so for a number of years. I finally found my wife after many years of looking a little over three years ago and now we are expecting our first child which brings with it a lot of change which will have its ups and downs but it is a great blessing.

Why I am a Mormon

As I have gone through my life I have seen many things and have been confronted with many different challenges. When I was a senior in high school, I lost a dear friend in a car accident. After that loss as well as others during my life, I really started to think about things. I was studying the New Testament at the time and happened to read the Beattitudes that night and came upon the verse that says essentially, blessed are those that mourn for they shall be comforted. I thought long and hard about that at that time and as I did, I felt more at peace than I had for a period of time. As I continued to study the scriptures, I came upon more and more verses that helped me understand how that was able to happen. That experience paired with personal prayer asking for guidance in my life has come to show me that I am on the right track. I want to have all that my Heavenly Father has promised and I know that as long as I stay on the right path, He will uphold his end of the contract.

How I live my faith

I love to be involved with the youth of the community. I have had the opportunity on more than one occasion to work closely with the youth on some great productions and have been very impressed by how they carry themselves. I have also had the privilege to sit down in discussions with the youth and young adults of my area and instruct them as to gospel principles and see how the lights turn on in their eyes as the concepts start to click and they can see how the gospel will bless them in their lives. I love the church and the opportunity that it gives me to grow and learn as I am able to serve in different capacities and rub shoulders with some of the greatest individuals in the community and the Church.
