Hi I'm Narayan

I'm a Mormon. I was born and grew up in Fiji. In 2002 moved to Vancouver Canada and got married. My wife and I have 2 kids.

About Me

I am a 39 year old married and father of 2 kids. I work in the accounting department of a marine company based in British Columbia, Canada. I was born and raised on a farm in Fiji and moved to Canada about 9 years ago. I love fisihng, watching hockey, spending time with my family and serving in the church.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because what I am today is because of what I have learnt over the years in church. As I have applied these principles in my everyday life, I have grown to appreciate who I am and what my purpose is here on this earth. When I first came in contact with the missionaries, I always thought it would be the same as every other church. But as I tried to practice, what I was taught and what the missionaries shared with me, I could feel the difference in my life. I know what I believe in is true and can help change us for the better and that is why I want to follow these truths and principles. I want my kids to have the same things in their lives because it will help them become better people in this world. The standards of the church has made me become a better person and blessed me with happiness in life that I know wealth can not buy.

How I live my faith

I love to live according to my faith. I love to serve others in any way possible. I love the opportunity we have in church to home teach. It is a wonderful blessing to visit people and learn of them and thier life time experiences and draw strength from them. I have always enjoyed doing whatever I have been asked to do in church because that makes me feel like I am a part of the plan of salvation. This is one of the things I really enjoy in the church, being asked to help in any calling that I can had so far in the church.
