And then we move to Richland Washington. And i think we will be staying there. I like computer games and video games. I like board games too. I also like to play the piano when im in the mood. I score really bad at bowling but i still like it. I love to laugh. Im second to the youngest in our family. I started to like knives and kinda with cooking. I also like learning new stuffs. I actually just wanna learn a lot of stuff. I am currently serving a mission in Richmond Virginia mission. I love nice and awesome people and humble people too. I love my family and my friends. And Im a mormon too. Isnt that just so awesome? :)

Why I am a Mormon

My mom is a mormon and also her side of the family. I grow up and born with my mom and we attend the Mormon church. So i grow up in that kind of traditions. I always come to church with them. But most of the time i never really pay attention on the teachers. until later on when im getting ready to go on my mission.I start to study about it and pray about it and then when i go to church meetings and listen to the speakers and teachers, I always had the feeling that i know that it is the true church. And i start telling myself why didnt i pay attention to this before. If everyone will just do study and ponder it in they're hearts and ask God and believing that He will answer. You will know it, because he loves you and he wants you to know. and I can say to myself and to others that i studied it, i pondered about it and i prayed and fasted about it. and i do know that it is true. and that God loves us. and that the church of God was establish again on the earth and I belong to that church. the Church of Jesus Christ and I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving God. Right now Im serving a mission in Richmond Virginia mission. And I think sharing the message about the gospel of Jesus Christ is a really good experience. It doesnt just help others. It helps me too by a lot. I never felt so close to God than being in His service thru being a missionary. I now feel like that i would like to serve a lot of people when i get home. I like doing service. In other ways that i try to live my faith also is by trying to be a good example to others. I read the scriptures everyday. I try to see and look for things that are good things that i can do.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

Jered
God is a very loving God. He is the source of truth and light. We are nothing compare to him. but we are everything to him. He has a perfect immortal body. And he wants us to be happy forever. But he wants us to endure trials and problems first. you wont know bitter if you dont know sweet. and also, it wont be so successful if others did it for us. he wants us to learn and improve the quality of our life. He is perfect and kind and he is not the author of confusion. Show more Show less

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Jered
We are created by God and he put us into families. Families are important to God also. and it is important to us also. It is easier to apply what we learn in our family, we share our love and joy to each other and support each other when we are discourage. A united family is the best source of strength and happiness. Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

Jered
The very main reason for it is because it is a commandment of God. We believe that God lives and that he leads us again today thru his servant the prophet. This law of health is made for our good and made for our benefits. This law also actually also reminds me on what Christ say, when he said "beware of false prophets" and then he also said that "by their fruits, ye shall know them". and we see that our prophet today is not just concern on our spiritual welfare. but also for our physical welfare and others. We are created by God, and He's creation is ofcourse important to him and He wants us to treat our body well. And like what is says on the main answer. it is no Cofee and tea, Alcohol, Tobacco or Cigar and Illegal drugs Show more Show less
