Hi I'm Alexandro

I'm a U.S. Marine Corps grunt and a veteran of two wars. I love the Boston Red Sox and Boise State football. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was six years old when a couple of white-boy missionaries knocked on our door, speaking almost-perfect Spanish. At the time, I didn't know who or what they represented, but as I grew older I would eventually come to learn that those two young men were Elders. I remember being sad when my parents declined to accept the blue book they offered to leave with us, and although I didn't remember that experience everyday after that, I never forgot. Fast-forward through my teenage years in which I was led by the great examples of my Mormon friends, as well as experience after experience that led me to The Church, regardless of where I was or what I was doing, and you have a kid praying to make the right choice about what direction to take. I was baptized at the age of 21, while serving in Afghanistan. It was a decision that took a long time in the making, but I know it was the right call.

Why I am a Mormon

Because it's true.

How I live my faith

I try really hard to not miss the point of it all; I study Christ. I follow Christ.
