Hi I'm Diana

I'm Puertorican born and raised in New York. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been fortunate to experience travel in some of the most beautiful countries in the world. And, there is so much I have learned from its people. For example, the pleasure of conversation that is shared among family and friends when they get together and share a meal. Or, the genuine concern for a loved one that may be going through a difficult time. These are values that are also shared among Mormons: Simplicity, humility, respect, honesty, a sense of humor, and sincerity. Every day I try to be a better person in spirit, mind, emotion, and compassion. Being a Mormon makes it easier to become a better me.

Why I am a Mormon

I have visited many churches in my quest toward spiritual truth. And then I found the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. From the very first day that I discovered it, I knew I had come home. The people are the most genuine I have ever met. The history of the Church, the teachings, the Book of Mormon, the prophets ancient and modern, all appeal to my sense of well-being and wonder. I was baptized September 2009.

How I live my faith

My first calling was to coordinate the Missionary Calendar which I did for one year. It was a great way to meet and share a meal with our excellent missionaries both male and female. When I was first introduced into the Church, I was taught by two highly intelligent missionary sisters. Now I am in the Preparedness Committee where we invite the public to learn about the various ways to prepare for emergency situations. The public can learn about canning, hydroponics, dehydrating, and many other interesting solutions. I share my knowledge about finances, budgets, and savings.
