Hi I'm Edward

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town as a only child. We spent much of our summers playing baseball where I ended up being a catcher, I always liked the excitement of being in almost every play. After High School I found myself in the Marine Corps working on Aircraft as a Electrician and Comm/Nav Technician. I got to see most of the Western part of America. After I came home, I ended up working for Family as a Plumber and HVAC installer. After 20 years I was able to become a Master Plumber. I enjoy playing Softball, Bowling, and Golfing when I have time. We also enjoy visiting other Major League Stadiums. I am also a Father and Grandfather and enjoy spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day saints has made a very large impact on our Family. I have to say that is one of the things that caught my attention as I learned more about the Church and Eternal Life. Who wouldn't want to be with there Family forever? At the time of my conversion we were facing another surgery on my Cervical Spine and I just didn't know what was going to happen. We had very little money left due to my injury and the battle for Workers Compensation was wearing us down slowly. My wife asked me if I wanted a blessing before the surgery and I said it couldn't hurt. Little did I know that was the beginning of many blessing that myself and my family have received. The day before my Blessing we got word that the Compensation Case ended in up in my favor, much to our relief. That got me thinking that someone was keeping a eye out for us. I read the Book of Mormon while I was recovering and came to realize that the Book of Mormon was true. After more prayers to Heavenly Father I got my answer that I was seeking. I got Baptised a little over 3 years ago. We as a Family have been through much since then, but it is a much easier path to travel down when you know your not alone. The Holy Ghost gives me much companionship when things get bumpy. I can say if you keep a open mind and follow the scriptures your life will change as mine has. Jesus Christ still lives and he will return here one day, Joseph Smith was the Profit or the restoration of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints in these latter days. I also know that we have a living Profit here today in President Monson who passes on revelations to us and also guides us along our path. I leave this to you in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I enjoy being part of our Young Men's program. It is always very special to see our Youth involved in Service projects to help others. I am also the Scoutmaster for our Church, it takes up a lot of time but it is worth every minute of time I get to spend with the Scouts watching them grow. I also teach our 12-14 year old Young Men, I think I have learned as much from them as they have learned from me. I also enjoy helping other Families when I can with my knowledge of Plumbing and Heating.
