Hi I'm Nate Eaton.

Husband. TV Journalist. Runner. Writer. Storyteller. Cookie Lover. Adventure Seeker. Writer. Mormon.

About Me

I am married to the girl of my dreams and we are living happily ever after in Virginia. Here I work as a television news reporter...I basically get paid to tell stories. It's the best job in the world! My family is incredible. I have two amazing parents, two brothers, and two sisters. I'm the third child - right in the middle! When I'm not working, I love being with my wife. We enjoy traveling, playing games, exploring, cooking, snuggling, and new adventures. I am also an avid runner and have completed many races - including two marathons.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have been a Mormon all my life. The reason I'm still active in my faith is simple: I know it's true. I know this because I have read the Book of Mormon, studied the doctrines of the Church, and prayed and asked God if it is right. He has answered my prayers and confirmed to my heart and mind that it is indeed true. My faith has taught me the answers to life's most important questions: where do we come from, why are we here, and where are we going after we die. It reminds me how important the family is and helps me see how we are all children of God. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a solid, unmovable anchor in a world that constantly seems to be shifting. My faith is a light in a world that grows constantly dark. My faith is everything to me.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith every day in every way. I love serving others and strive to be kind to everyone I meet. I enjoy serving in the Church and have done a variety of things - like teaching classes, organizing activities, serving in leadership positions, and many more. One thing I love about the Church is that it's a 24-7 operation. We don't just show up for a few hours on Sunday, learn a lesson, and go home. We are constantly involved...and I try to live my faith every second of every day.
