Hi I'm Marsha

I grew up in many areas across the United States. I am the mother of 5 and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a large family. I went to college and earned a degree in Biology and Chemistry. I also earned a teaching certificate, but chose to stay home and raise my children full time instead of teaching. I have five crazy kids, that are smart, beautiful and have a deep testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have been married for 11 years. I like to oil paint, read and work in the yard.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a "Mormon", quite simply because I know the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true. I have no doubt that the Book of Mormon was written by true prophets of God in ancient times. I know that Joseph Smith was led and directed be God as well, to restore the gospel in the latter days. I have come to love those prophets of old, as well as the prophets of today. They are men of God. I know that Jesus Chris is the Savior of the world. Without his Atonement for our sins, we would be lost, and never return to our beautiful home with Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be a good Christian. I try to live the way Jesus Christ would want me to live. I give of my time, and my money to those in need. I let myself love people. I try to forgive quickly. Right now I teach a Sunday School class to adults, and I love it! I study my scriptures and say my personal prayers every morning and night. I also study scriptures and pray with my husband and my children every day. These things help me to have the Spirit of God with me always and it makes me happy, even in times of turmoil and trial. I love my children and my husband in the way Jesus Christ would want me to. I also know that I am not perfect, but that when I do my best, and still mess up, that is why Jesus Atoned for my sins and my mistakes. I repent, and then I move on. That is the best part about the gospel. I know I can be clean again.
