Hi I'm Arnie

I live in England and am a second generation Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for over twenty years and am afather of five healthy children. I work as a civil servant and am particularly interested in Geography and History. I spent two years as a missionary for the church in Australia, which was a great experience. I enjoy travelling, experiencing the beauty of nature and the diversity of culture.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were independantly converted to the Church in thier youth and early twenties. They married a nd raised their family in the gospel. I benefited from being raised in a loving home where we learned about the Saviour and his church. During my teens it was important to me to know for myself whether the traditions in our home were correct and that the church was indeed the true church of Jesus Christ. Through study, prayer and a variety of experiences the holy ghost witnessed to me independantly that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was the Lords church and that it is led today by a living prophet. I am grateful for my understanding of the atonement of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I attend church services each Sunday and strive to live as a true disciple of Christ. It is important to me to be involved in religious activiy throughout the week as well as on Sunday. I have particularly enjoyed working with the youth of the church. I have attended many 'scout' type camps where we have been able to develop new skills and interests as well as developing our understanding of the gospel and our purpose in life.
