Hi I'm Melissa

I'm a college student, discovering my role in the world and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student working to become a teacher. I enjoy playing soccer, reading, sewing, cooking, and most of all being with the people I love. I am a typical "American Girl" except I have one special thing that not a lot of other "American Girls" have. I have The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an Mormon family, raised in the LDS church, and continue to seek opportunities to strengthen my testimony in this gospel. I am a Mormon because I see God's hand in my life everyday. Knowledge that I am a child of God brings purpose to my life. Most importantly being a Mormon brings greater joy to my life than any other thing this world has to offer.

How I live my faith

I love to attend church every Sunday and participate in Relief Society and Sunday School lessons. Visiting Teaching is an amazing way I have come to learn to serve my Heavenly Father. I seek every opportunity to serve others and share with them the precious knowledge I have of the truth of Jesus Christ. I enjoy activities I am able to participate in such as Home Evening with other college age students and other young single adult activities. I love attending Institute and participate in the Institute Women's Association where I am able to gather with other Mormon college aged women and seek opportunities to strengthen my faith and serve in the community I live in.
