Hi I'm Bob Edwards

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi I'm Bob I'm a cycling "Grandp, father of eight children and grandfather of 13. I'm retired from a career of 50 years of tax preparation and real estate. My hobbies are cycling (I love doing 50 milers with my wife), walking, playing softball, reading daily and enjoying my grandchildren,

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a convert to the LDS Church, I grew up on the beach and attended a non denominational Christian Church. As a young man I would often wake up from dreams of seeing parents, myself and other family members suffering after death (because of teachings in that church). At age 16 when I was taught the gospel the Spirit was strong. Once I understood the atonement I knew there was hope for my family and I. Now in serving family and others and doing work for deceased individuals I have even a stronger testimony of Heavenly Fathers Love and His Eternal Plan for all of his children,

How I live my faith

Since my retirement I'm constantly looking for opportunities to be like the Savior and serve my family and others wherever I can. I currently serve as a husband, father, grandfather, home teacher (for other families in my congregation),on the local leadership council where I assist the local leaders in my area, a weekly worker in the temple where I assist both the living and the deceased in making further covenants with Heavenly Father, a service missionary in our local mission home and as an administrator of our addiction recovery program which meets weekly in our Chapel. I have also served on many Local, State and National Committees for the National Association of Realtors as well as President of the local board. And on local and state positions with Kiwanis Clubs, including President of our local club.
