Hi I'm Adam

I married my high school sweet heart and we have five children. I am an Airline Captain and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in Brisbane, Australia and I'm married to my high school sweetheart. We have five wonderful kids who mean the world to us and we feel very blessed to have them. I work for a major Australian airline as a management Captain and enjoy the challenges and excitement that my job brings, as well as the chance to travel around Australia and overseas. In my spare time, I enjoy outdoor activities with my family such as golf, fishing and I play in an over 35yrs football team.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were members of the church when I was born, so I grew up as a Mormon and gained a firm understanding of the basic principles of the Gospel. At age 16, I stopped going to church and started spending my Sundays at the beach or hanging out with friends. During the next four to five years, I fell in love with my wife, who at the time, was not a member of the church and it soon became apparent that I wanted to spend the rest of my life, and eternity, with her and the only way that was going to happen, was to be married in the Temple. Although I had spent most of my life going to church and had a good understanding of the basic beliefs, I realized that I hadn't gained a personal testimony of Jesus Christ and the sacrifice that He made for me, so I decided to get serious about my religion. My wife and I started going to church again and after about 12 mths, she was taught the Gospel by the missionaries and was baptised a member of the church. After another 12 mts, we went to the Sydney Temple and were sealed together for all eternity. I know that because of our Heavenly Father's love for us, he has provided a way, after we die, to live forever as a family with Him if we keep his commandments. This knowledge helps to give my life a purpose and keeps me living the way I know I should.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by consistently putting the principles of being a Mormon into practice in my everyday life. I try to be kind and considerate of others and look for ways to be of service whenever possible.
