Hi I'm Melissa.

I am from Texas! I am a nurse, and I'm Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated from nursing school. I am a new nurse. I picked nursing as a career because I love service. I want to serve others in whatever capacity that I can. As a new graduate, my life is in transition right now. I don't have a job, and I'm not a student any more. Being a grown up is much harder then I anticipated, but I welcome the challenges of adulthood! I love my family. I love dancing. I love my cat. I love to travel, and someday I want to be a nurse to the whole world. I am a seamstress and I want to eventually go to fashion school. I'm a nurse, a graduate, a sister, a friend, a seamstress, a goof-off, and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been Mormon. I was raised in the church. I choose to be Mormon. I have had my own conversion, and I have my own testimony that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true, and that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I love the Gospel, and I love my faith. The church is true, and that is why I am a "Mormon".

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my chosen career path. I live my faith through nursing. I try to live a good example by doing service to others on a daily basis. I attend church every Sunday if possible. I spend time with our local missionaries. I participate in local church activities. I believe that through service I am doing the work of Jesus Christ. His life was dedicated and given in service to the people of the world. I actively try to emulate those attributes of the Savior in service to others.
