Hi I'm Melissa

I am a Floridian, a Tallahassee Lassie just returned from 3 1/2 years in Canada who is a returning student and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

During the Summer of 1991, I met 2 LDS Missionaries while on vacation visiting relatives in Montreal, Quebec Canada. Though our meeting was brief, a seed was planted one that peaked my curiousity about the Church and their "plan for salvation." Upon returning home to Florida, I made an inquiry to the Church following a commercial that I had seen on television. I was baptised on my birthday in November of the same year. The journey of my membership in the Church has been a rocky one and yet it is because as a convert, in my younger years lacked the wisdom to comprehend the gravity of the teachings of the Church. In retrospect today, 20 years later I have never regretted having joined the Church and with a full heart and much love, am proud to say that " i AM A MORMON." I have just returned from having a 3 1/2 year life's experience of living and working in the Province of Quebec, Canada. Today, I am now back home in the city of my birth and have just returned to college as a 3rd year University of Phoenix student pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Healthcare Administration and Health Management. .

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because the Church is true.

How I live my faith

As the only member of my family in the Church, I live my faith by cleaving to the "Iron Rod." choosing the right and by being a woman of righteousness. There is no other way for salvation and happiness except for this way.
