Hi I'm Sheila

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm now a mom! Been married for five years to my sweetheart and now just added a baby girl to the family. I have a degree in physical education and enjoy staying active. I like playing sports for leisure and spending time with my family. I like baking, gardening, and learning new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents who were already members of the church. I was taught the gospel from them and shown how family members should care for and love one another. As I have grown, my testimony has developed simply, line upon line. The reason I continue to make the gospel a part of who I am, is that it brings peace to my life. Learning about Heavenly Father's plan gives me a sense of purpose and direction. I love the fact that families can be together forever and that we can repent of mistakes so we can live happily in this life and in the life to come.

How I live my faith

Currently I am a part of the Young Women's group! It is so rewarding to be involved with the youth of the ward. I get to prepare lessons to teach on Sundays and help out with weeknight activities (which are a lot of fun!) In essense, our goal is to help the girls achieve their highest potential in all aspects of their lives. So, in the quest to help the girls learn how to crochet dishclothes, gain testimonies, and make friendships...etc, I get to learn a lot too! It makes me work harder at living the gospel standards so I can be a better example.
