Hi I'm Dee

I am a wife and a mom of 6 children and 1 beautiful grand daughter. I am working on my PhD in Logistics, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

Besides being a wife and mom of 6 children, I am currently working on my PhD in Supply Chain Management. My research centers around collaborative efforts both in business and humanitarian efforts. I love spending time with my teenagers. They are so much fun! We just picked up a new hobby playing disc golf. It's a blast. There is always a construction project going on in our home--always need a reason to keep my kids working. I enjoy running--most of the time. I have run one marathon, and have the desire to run another one, but that might need to wait until after I am done with my PhD.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in an LDS home. I have always loved the gospel of Jesus Christ. It has always been my way of life.

How I live my faith

I love the saying, "Pray as though everything depended on God. Work as though everything depended on you.” That is how I try to live my faith. Unfortunately, or fortunately however you want to look at it, I think the Lord does his part better than I do. I love serving in the church. Currently, I am working with the youth in our stake as the Stake Young Women's Secretary. We plan and prepare activities once a month for our youth to help them have fun, safe, and wholesome activities to attend. We also work with the youth leaders from the wards and branches in our stake.
