Hi I'm Sam

I wear Birkenstocks with socks, I once ate a package of Oreos in one sitting, I love dinosaurs and LEGO, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I was born in Ithaca, New York. There I attended elementary school...and middle school...and high school. Now I'm studying something at Brigham Young University--I'm not sure what that something is yet. Someday. I served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for in two years in South Carolina. I love LEGO. I think I have spent more time with some sort of LEGO creation in my hands than I have spent asleep. Life well lived if you ask me. I enjoy eating and by extension have learned to cook and bake. I try to draw, but I'm not too good. I like to longboard. Again, I'm not very good--sometimes I'll hit that ground and my pride goes everywhere. Better luck next time.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because nothing has or ever will make me happier! I enjoy being happy--it's a hobby of mine. I know that I am a son of God. He knows and loves me. Because of this, he sent his son, Jesus Christ, to atone for my sins--and everyone's sins--so that I can return to live with my Father in Heaven once again. I know that I can live with my family for eternity...that's a long time...good thing I like them! I know the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. I know that Joseph Smith saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and was called to be a prophet. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet today. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is God's kingdom on the earth once again.

How I live my faith

I do everything I can to serve those around me. For 2 years, I'll be serving the people of South Carolina by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
