Hi I'm Heather
I'm a Dental Assistant and Entrepreneur. I love my Eternal Family. I'm a Mormon.
I love to dance! It is how I express myself I feel free when I am doing it. I have dance since I was 11 and danced on the high school team. I always had dreams of dancing beyond high school but realiezed that it was not in the cards for me. So I went a different route. I starting working as a dental assistant in high school and realized when I graduated that I loved it. I also loved business and wanted to start my own company. What it was going to be I had no idea, but I kept working as n assistant to earn money and just because I loved it. As time went on my dream still lingered and I looked for a way to fulfill it. When my sister in law was pregnant I decicded that she needed the most fabulous diaper bag anyone had ever seen!!! In my diaper bag search I realized that there was not one that exisited that fit my standards! So I went to work on creating my own diaper bag. Through long hours, sewn bloody fingers, and stress past my eyeballs a diaper bag was created! When I gave it to my sister in law I had a bunch of women that wanted one. Here came my dream right in my face. From there I started my company JAC diaper bags. It is not up and running yet, but it wil be in coming years. In the midst of the company I knew I had to serve a mission. Its hard to leave everything behind, but I knew it was right. I am currently serving in Gaylord, Michigan. I love the people, I love the city, and I love the gospel. I found who I am and my purpose in life. That is what the gospel does!
Why I am a Mormon
Growing up Mormon is great! My childhood was one of joy, peace, comfort. Did I struggle YES!!!, but was I helped along the way by my Savior YES!!! Everything good that has come in my life has been from my belief in God and Christ's atonement. I know that everything in the church is true and with that knowledge it is my duty to live it!!! I'm mormom because it makes me happy. That happiness that I grew up with is the happiness that I want my kids to have. I know it is true so how could I not be mormon.
How I live my faith
I live my faith by attending church everyweek and partaking of the sacrament. It reminds me of the suffering that Christ did for me on the Cross. By this act I show God that I believe him and want to live his teachings. The biggest for me to show my faith is my serving a mission. I have been blessed with the amazing gift of the gospel and with that it is my duty to share it with other people!!!
