Hi I'm Ryan

I'm a husband, a father of two (soon to be three), a mechanical engineer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have always enjoyed learning new things and that interest has driven me to continuously advance in my education. I have also always wanted a family. I have found that although it can be challenging at times, these two goals are not mutually exclusive! I have been an engineering student ever since my wife and I were married. We now have two children and a third on the way. My son just started school before I finished! Together we enjoy exploring the world (when and where we can!), biking, hiking, and thoroughly celebrating our favorite holidays as a family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a Mormon. I graduated from early morning seminary, I attended institute classes, and I served a full-time mission for two years. Immediately after my mission, I met my wonderful wife and we were married for time and all eternity. Now we have two beautiful kids, and all we have left is the "happily ever after" part! I won't say my life hasn't had it's share of challenges, but I have never felt ill-equipped to meet those challenges with strength, knowing that the Lord will always stand by me and help me make it through. For me, for me, trying to live the restored gospel of Jesus Christ brings an inner peace, and a place to turn when things are hard.

How I live my faith

I have the opportunity to look after our church building, including coordinating volunteers to clean it on Saturday mornings. I also schedule the building for wedding receptions, funerals, fun activities, and other events. I also have a role in coordinating the home teaching efforts within our ward.
