Hi I'm Jamie

I live in 600 sq feet. I have moved 18 times. I'm crazy about organization and motherhood. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Our little family has lived all over this beautiful country from Philadelphia,PA to Seattle,WA and pretty much everywhere in between. I love blogging our life and style. I love that I only have to use one electrical outlet to vacuum our whole home. I love running with my double jogger. I have loved almost every day that my husband has been in medical school. I love that every piece of art in our home is done by my 5 year-old or myself. I love to be organized. I love making and keeping family traditions. I love to create. I love my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up Mormon and I gained a testimony by living the teachings of the Gospel. I know that Jesus Christ set the perfect example for us to follow and as I read and re-read the scriptures I will continually be reminded (because I think I have to read it 50 times before it finally sets in!) on how to follow in His footsteps. I strive to live the commandments and teach my little girls that God loves them and He knows them personally. What a blessing that is!

How I live my faith

We love life here at the Hilton home! We strive to be good examples to each other and to our neighbors. Our 5 year-old loves daily scripture study and wont let us forget about it (which is nice to be reminded!). We pray together and serve those around us. Because we have moved so much for my husbands job we have had the opportunity to serve around the country. The places that we hold dearest to our hearts are the places we have served the most. It has been a lesson to us that as we put effort in we will be blessed. And boy have we been blessed!

Why is family so important to Mormons?

The family is a central part of Gods plan. I love being a mother. I am constantly searching for worthy traditions and activities to implement into our family. The older I get the more I realize how precious our time is. I am so thankful for inspired council to hold a family night once a week. We have tried to build on this and have found worthy traditions that we look forward to on a monthly basis. And boy oh boy do the girls get excited! Show more Show less
