Hi I'm Maranda

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mom, stepmom, daughter, sister, aunt and convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I made the choice to be a Mormon because I have a testimony that the Book of Mormon is true. I feel the love Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have more me. Since I was a young girl, I have searched to learn and build a relationship with our Heavenly Father. This relationship was always there, however I wasn't truly contributing until I was 31 years old and learned how to build my relationship. During any trial I have had over the past 3 years, I have gained such strength, through the times of abundant blessings I have been humbled with gratitude. Faith is an act, based on a truth centered on Jesus Christ. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love us and I have faith that through Jesus Christ I shall have peace.

How I live my faith

I volunteer as a police officer with a local police department. I enjoy helping others and making a contribution to my community. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to teach children in the church. I learn so much each week, as I prepare my lessons. I am a person of organization, however I like to have breathing room to figure things out. With that being said, I have so many opportunities to gain personal revelation and seek guidance to help me make decisions and continue to build stronger testimonies. I have gained such a feeling of joy and peace, since I became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
