Hi I'm Fa'afetai Viliamu

I grew in Apia, Samoa. Currently live in New Zealand. I'm a convert. Baptize on December 2010. Loving The Church of Jesus Christ.

About Me

I love sports, especially Volleyball. Currently serving in the New Zealand Auckland Mission. I love eating and making new friends. Easy to get a long with. Love missionary work. I'm the only member of my family. I was baptize the week after my 18th birthday. Best experience ever.

Why I am a Mormon

Well! I didn't know about the church till the missionaries were introduced in my life. A friend from my previous religion was one of the missionaries. That's how it started. I decided to know about the church. Ask questions but most importantly, I gave the missionaries time to share their gospel knowledge. Everything was perfect and it make sense. One day, I decided to go visit with the missionaries. I came to understand the restoration of the gospel and first time in my whole life experiencing the spirit whispering. I wanted to know more and more. Then the elders taught me and my brother the Plan of Salvation and it's one of my favourite. I thought to myself, "How come I never heard about this in my church?" I commit to what the elders told me to do. I read, study and pray about the church and the Book of Mormon. Our Heavenly Father didn't leave aside. My good feelings were the answers to my prayer. I came to a solution that I should be baptize because I know for sure that it is the door to the Celestial Kingdom and I want my family to be part of it. I now know that families are important to our Heavenly Father and can be together forever. I was baptize and decide to follow the spirit. Now I'm the only member in my family and I'm proud to be different to be the best example for them to come in the true church of our God in Heaven. I guess the main reason why I'm a Mormon is because we have the fullness of the gospel and living it everyday of our lives overcome all trials on earth. Ooooh! and I'm not a Mormon, I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

Faith is believing but not seeing. Keeping the commandments, scripture studies everyday, talk to friends about their families are some ways I show my love to my Heavenly Father. As a priesthood holder our duty is to serve others, love them as we're commanded. Attending church every Sunday, renewing my baptismal covenants by partaking of the sacrament. Participate in Sunday School classes by sharing your insights and experiences in the week. It is basically "LIVING" what I believe and what I learn. That's how I live my faith.
