Hi I'm Spencer

I grew up in the Mountain West. I'm a twin, I'm patriotic, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently serving a mission in Raleigh, North Carolina. I have four sisters and a brother. I like to read and I enjoy any form of high-adventure. I love to work hard and get things done.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a Mormon family, but I question everything. I have read, studied, and prayed to know if what I've been taught in the Mormon church is true, and I know that it is. There is a difference between saying I'm a member of the church and being truly converted to the Gospel of Jesus. It wasn't until I experimented on the Gospel that I felt the power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ and came to know that he is my Savior and Redeemer. That is why I am a mormon. The Book of Mormon is a testament of Jesus Christ and his divinity, Joseph Smith was called of God to restore the Church of Jesus Christ, and that church is led today by a living prophet of God.

How I live my faith

We believe in Christ. I live my faith by doing my best to follow Him. I study the scriptures and then apply what I learn to my life. I decided to serve a mission so I can share the message of Christ's gospel with other people.

Are Mormons Christians?

Mormons are Christians. Everything we do as members of the Mormon church is centered on Jesus Christ and His teachings. Show more Show less

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Yes we do. The Bible is the word of God recorded by His prophets and its teachings are as valid today as they were when it was written. It is an excellent source to learn of the life of the Savior Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
