Hi I'm Jenny

I am an army brat. I lived all over. I love to coupon. I am a teacher. I learn new things every day,and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up as an army brat. We lived in a few different places. I always remember my mom telling me that the church would be there for us no matter where we went. She was right. No matter where we moved, there was always the church and a new set of friends with the same values. I grew up with good friends who helped me choose to make good decisions about avoiding drugs and alcohol, waiting until marriage for intimacy, and choosing to continue my education. I went to college and got a degree in Elementary Education, and taught third and fourth grade. I met and married my husband when I was 26, and now stay at home with my two year old son. I coupon a lot. My husband and I believe in budgeting and saving, and try to live within our means by being creative and doing without.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the Book of Mormon is true. I know Heavenly Father gives us trials and experiences that help to change us for the better. I know he is a loving Father who provided a way of Salvation for us. I am a Mormon because the church shows the way to live a life you can be proud when faced with your choices at the judgement seat.

How I live my faith

In the church I work with the children. That means I teach lessons to the children every Sunday about Heavenly Father and Jesus. It is a joy to see the light in a young child's eyes as they develop their own testimony of our Savior. I have a visiting teaching route where I visit certain women from the church every month to share a spiritual message and listen to how they grow in their Faith. I go to activities planned for the women to help us grow together in our faith and as sisters. I try to perform service for others as much as possible to thank my Heavenly Father for the wonderful blessings he has given me.
