Hi I'm Kristie

I was blessed to be able to serve in the South as a full-time missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of eight children. I love to sing! I love music! I love to play the piano, dance, and play sports. I love how my family would always get together and play baseball in our front yard. Those are some of the best memories. I love to learn about history. Especially family history! Anything I can learn that draws me closer to God is fun to learn about.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a loving home. When I was a about a year old my father was diagnosed with cancer. From there it was a rocky road for my family. My Dad fought the cancer for fifteen years until he passed away in 2004. He was always a good man and he taught us well, along with my mother, to follow our Savior Jesus Christ. The reason I am still a Mormon and still want to be a Mormon is because of the Restored truths that have been brought back through a Prophet of God named Joseph Smith. The truths I'm talking about refer to the Plan of Salvation. I know the Plan of Salvation as taught in this church is true and that it is because of this plan that I will see my father again. That my entire family can be together not only for this life but for eternity. I know this is true and if you will take the opportunity to learn more about the Plan of Salvation you can know it for yourself. This has brought me so much peace and will continue to help me throughout my life.

How I live my faith

I served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the wonderful South! I am so grateful to have been able to be here as a full-time missionary. I know it's only through Gods Son, our Savior Jesus Christ, that we can be saved. While serving as a missionary I saw people who have been searching for this Gospel be baptized and confirmed a member of the church. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the Lords Church on the earth. And I know as you search through the Book of Mormon and pray to know it's true that you WILL know. We have all been promised that as we ASK we SHALL receive. I promise you that you will know when you make the sincere effort.

Who chooses the Mormon prophet?

Kristie
The Lord Jesus Christ works through capable men and chooses the next prophet. The congregations of the church likewise "sustain", which means to support, that decision. I know that it is through revelation that the Lord has always directed HIS church. Show more Show less
