Hi I'm Suzanne

I'm a return missionary, mom, school volunteer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother. I served a mission in Estonia quickly learning that I can live and adapt to many different situations and environments. I met my husband in college and he helped me finish my degree in Social Sciences and Secondary Education. We have 3 children. I am very busy and try to balance a lot of things: work, family, church activities, kids homework and activities, and a bit of leisure. I work in a Montessori Toddler room which keeps me on my toes daily. I like to read, listen to music, watch movies, and take drives to see the beautiful things around me.

Why I am a Mormon

When I follow the example of Jesus Christ, His prophets and His commandments I am happy. There is a peace in my mind and heart. Our family is closer when we pray and read the scriptures together. Difficulties have not passed, but the challenges have been met because I know there is a lesson to be learned, faith to be built, and a glorious future for me and my family. I know my life has been spared on many occasions because God has a work for me to do, and I hope to do my best to look for opportunities to serve Him by serving others.

How I live my faith

I love going to Church. I help the young women and their leaders with goals, activities, and learning how the Gospel of Jesus Christ is part of their lives. Visiting with and teaching new members more about the Church is fun and helps me build friendships that last. Family History and searching for my ancestors is a great way to find new people to talk with.

How can faith in Jesus Christ influence us in our marriages and family relationships? in our friendships?

I was taught by a wise woman that in a marriage the husband and wife should walk hand in hand looking toward Christ instead of always looking to each other. This helps the couple see their goal, not the faults and imperfections in the spouse. With faith in Christ and trust in my husband, I know that my marriage does not end at death, but continues for eternity. With faith in Christ, my actions and words help teach my children their worth and potential. Show more Show less
