Hi I'm Julie

I'm a 23 year old college student majoring in Latin American Studies. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 23 years old. I love learning about different cultures- especially Latin American culture. I've been studying Spanish for years, and hope to one day be fluent. I will graduate from college next year with a Latin American Studies major. I'm not sure exactly what I'll be doing after I graduate, but it is exciting to look into different options. I love listening to music- music just makes life better. There's nothing like a good beat to get me energized and pumped for the day or a chill song to help me relax and be more reflective. I also enjoy reading (when it's not a boring textbook for school).

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon for lots of reasons. One is because I know that God has called a prophet to lead us. I know that through Jesus Christ we can live with God after this life.

How I live my faith

I do my best to live my life how God wants me to by doing things such as praying and going to church. I help plan activities for people in my congregation. We usually have a spiritual lesson followed by a game or activity that is just for fun.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Julie
All Mormons are not required to serve a mission a mission is voluntary. Most missionaries are young men and young women aged 19-22. There are also missionaries who are retired seniors and married couples. I chose to serve a mission when I could go when I was 21. I loved it, and will always treasure the experiences I had in the 18 months I served a mission. Show more Show less
