Hi I'm Heidi

I am a mom, full-time CNA and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife to wonderful man and a mom to a beautiful baby girl! She is my one of my greatest gifts from God. I am also a CNA and I love being able to be there for the elderly. I like to make people feel good about themselves and I have learned patience and humility from those that I come in contact with. I have learned that the secret to happiness is nothing but the golden rule we all learned in school and that is to treat others in a way that I would want to be treated. During the tough times in my life I like to go to work and just think of others because it takes the load off my shoulders and for a minute I forget about the current trial I am trying to get though. Life as a wife is awesome! I love to cook and clean! I try to fill the big shoes of my mom and grandmothers and I am not always sure how to do that, so it is easier to imagine myself as June Cleaver on the show "Leave it to Beaver!"

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I choose to be. I feel that Heavenly Father has given this gift and so many more gifts that it is my duty and responsibility to share it with everyone. Having a testimony of the the restored gospel is so wonderful and life is easier to handle because of the light and knowledge that I have. I no longer can sit in the back of the corner and keep it too myself as that would be selfish, so naturally I want others to come closer to Christ. This was done for me by reading, studying and praying about the Book of Mormon. I know where I came from, where I am going and what I need to do to return back to the presence of Heavenly Father. Sometimes life gets overwhelming and it doesn't always go as I thought it would and it always turns out better when I trust in God. This has been evident from the time I thought I was going to be married, to the birth of our firstborn. I refuse to let Satan or anyone for that matter stand in my way!

How I live my faith

Twice a month I work with the 8-11 year old girls. We do activities and spiritual lessons that will prepare them for the next phase of their life as a teenager. I think they are teaching me more than I ever could with them.!
