Hi I'm Nora

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love life. Currently I'm attending college to become a hydrological engineer because water is so important. I love to be in nature hiking, camping, bike riding, and kayaking. Spending time with family is one of my favorite things to do, especially since I don't get to see them very much. I love making music- singing, piano, flute, and guitar. I also enjoy watercolor painting and baking pies.

Why I am a Mormon

I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I know the Gospel of Jesus Christ to be true. I know that by living in harmony with Christ's teachings, I can be happy in this earth life. I know some people think Mormons have all these crazy rules, but I also know that keeping the commandments is much more rewarding than a night on the town like some of my dear friends do. I know that we are led by a prophet called of God to lead and guide us through these turbulent days, and that by following his counsel we can once again live with our Father in Heaven. This is why I'm a Mormon =)

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church weekly and participating in many other church activities. Sometimes I play the piano. I attend institute class each week, and while I'm at school I lead all the girls in my ward the third hour of church. I worry about them often and try to help them with anything they might need, especially those who are away from home for the first time. I visit a few of them each month and have been blessed by their sweet spirits. I live my faith at work too, by not being afraid to speak up when opportunities arise, such as explaining why I'm not a coffee drinker. I try to always be kind and keep an eye out for anyone in need of a little extra help.
