Hi I'm Lane

I grew up in a small Wyoming town. I love running and work as a pharmacist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father of 3 children. I enjoy spending time with family outdoors as well as diverse sporting activities (running, tennis, basketball). I have completed three marathons and am currently training for my fourth. I have moved around a lot while finishing school and completing a post-graduate residency training program. Since being married, I have lived in 4 different states. Currently I work as a pharmacist. This job gives me great satisfaction as I am able to help many different individuals in different ways every day.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have great faith in Jesus Christ as my Savior.  The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has shown me who I really am as a son of God and what my potential is. I find great peace and comfort knowing that I have a brother, Jesus Chirst, that has atoned for me and my mistakes. I know that through him I can receive the comfort and feel of his love. As a Mormon I have been blessed to have additional scriptures like the Book of Mormon that has strenghtened my belief and faith in Jesus Christ. By reading and following the stories found in the Book of Mormon I have gained a stronger understanding of power of prayer, faith, repentance, forgiveness, obedience, humility, and sacrifice. I continue to gain a stronger testimony of this gospel everyday with the help of great leadership. I am grateful for a living prophet who guides and diercts this church through direct revelation from God. I am constantly reminded of the importance of having a prophet everytime I hear him speak. As my family is very important to me, I love the emphasis the gospel places on families. I am so thankful for the knowledge that if I stive to keep the commandments and follow the example of Jesus Christ, I can have the blessing of living with my family forever. How comforting it is to know that I will see the loved ones who have parted this earthly life again. I enjoy the friendship I have found through the gospel. No matter where I have lived, I have found people who share the same beliefs and teach the same principles to their children that I am trying to teach to mine. These friendships have strengthened my faith and testimony in Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a follower of Jesus Christ in keeping his commandments at allt imes. Currently I help the missionaries of the church in my area find, teach, and bring others to know their Savior. This opportunity to work closely with the missionaries allows me to share my beliefs and testimony with others, and constantly reminds how great of a blessing it is to have the gospel.
