Hi I'm Beth

I'm a wife, mom and a friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being with friends and family. I like to read, but find when I have a good book, my life stops till it's done, so I plan my reading when my life can handle it! I make little girl hair bows and sell them to a boutique back in Connecticut. I enjoy making these bows because it give me a fun creative outlet. I love taking pictures, and then putting them to music. The combination of people I love with music I love always makes me cry! I love going to movies with my husband and I love going on vacations with my family. But, I think my most favorite thing is to be in my home with my family either watching a movie together or playing a game together.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were converts to this church, but I have always been a member. I love the guidence the church gives my life. I love knowing that God will help me in any and all choices or question I have. I like knowing that as I follow instuctions from the scriptures or the prophet or the Holy Spirit I will be making myself a better person. I like having a plan. I'm an organized person so I enjoy knowing what I need to do. I have seen the results from following the prophet,or reading your scriptures, or being Christlike and it is always good and that's what this church teaches. I feel like my life is full because I am a mormon. Full of love, service, guidance and much more.

How I live my faith

I serve in the young children's organization, Primary, and love it so much! I spend my Sunday's with children ages 18 months to 11 years old, and it's the best place to be! They are so eager to learn and for the most part want to be there (some would like to be with "Mommy" instead, but they come around!). I enjoy planning lessons for them and watching their testimonies grow. I love listening to them sing the Primary songs. Songs really help teach a concept and I feel the children enjoy learning that way, and remember the lesson so much better. While living in Connecticut, I helped organize a Christmas event where people would come to our church building and view Nativity displays from around the world. It was an event that we would begin planning in July. I enjoyed surrounding myself in the Christmas Story for such a long period of time, but I enjoyed more the reactions we would get as people would walk through and see all the different representations of the first Christmas! It was always a beautiful, and spiritual event.
