Hi I'm Daniel Rubio

I love to vlog, I rock out on the trombone, I'm a full-time missionary and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the oldest of two. I am Mexican, and proud of it! I have grown up in the church thanks to my amazing mother who decided to listen to the missionaries and take the lessons, but most importantly read and pray about the Book of Mormon. Because my mom had the faith to do that I was born and raised in the church. Currently I'm serving our beloved Savior and Redeemer as a Missionary in the Mass. Boston Mission. Some of my biggest hobbies are playing my trombone, recording vlogs or any life moment that could be happening. I have recently just found a huge love for crossfit, and am developing my love for technology, videos, and music! I have one younger sister who is amazing and I love very much. We like to play tennis together and although she is shorter then me, she can still be a powerhouse on the court!

Why I am a Mormon

Well I could say, "I'm a mormon because I was born a Mormon." However, the truth is I found out for myself that God loves me and that this church is thee TRUE church that contains the fullness of his Gospel! When we talk about the prophets from Joseph smith to our living prophet today (Thomas S. Manson) my heart just burns in this way that I can't explain, which just testifies to me that this is true. That they do reveal to us Gods wisdom and advice to us TODAY. When I'm struggling to figure out what I need to do I read from the Book of Mormon and think about what I learn and try to do my best to apply it to my life. I search old conference talks and ALWAYS find something that impacts my life and gives me peace. Finally, because when I pray to our father in heaven through Jesus Christ. He gives me the knowledge, the strength, and the love I need. Currently as I am serving as one of his messengers of "glad tiddings" to the wonderful people of the New England area, the Massachusettes Boston Mission Spanish speaking, I have found that the saying "My faith is a way of life" takes on a whole new meaning when you become a missionary. For it truly is my life for the next 2 yrs, and I love doing it! As I've started my journy as a misionary I have found the peace that comes from serving my fellow brothers and sisters. I love talking to people and inviting them to come unto Christ. Even though they might not get baptized and feel the power of the Atonement. I know that I've helped them in their life. I know this is what it means to live my faith. By being a testimony of Christ name at all times and in all places. I will strive forever to be missionary of his holy name and relying on him to strengthen me in my weaknesses. The scriptures give me the way to become a better missionary and a better servant in his Kingdom.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church, reading the Book of Mormon, graduating seminary and then attending Institute in college with my friends. By choosing fun things to do with friends that won't ever put me in a situation that I don't want to be. Going to activities with friends who are members and non-members and always coming home with a huge smile on my face. Doing service with my church and just for the community. I also love playing music with friends and having people listen to us do something we love. However, I think I live my faith best by being a example of the believers by just being happy, having faith, working hard, smiling, and helping others come to find the truth.
