Hi I'm Lulu

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Tucson Arizona. I have been a foster single mom. I work for AMARG civil service.

About Me

I am a single mom with a daughter who just graduated from high school. I am a convert to the church but my daughter has been raised in the church. My hobbies are crocheting, making home made flour tortillas for extra money for gas. I have been a foster mom and would like to do it again soon. I love the church because it is family oriented and no matter where you live it is the same church. I work full time and go to school online to earn my bacherlor's degree in Project management. It is not easy but with faith in Heavenly Father I know that I will make it. I hope to find a soul mate soon so we can do things together. I have also 5 step children that I love very much. I did not live with them very long but I have always tried to be part of their life because my daughter is their half sister. I am very honest and do not like people who are dishonest. I love serving in church and helping out when I am able to. I love reading the scriptures because it helps me to get to know Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father's plan for us. We just have to be obedient to his commandments to be blessed and be happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Catholic and my whole family is Catholic except for my daughter and myself. I chose to become a member of the church because I was not learning anything in church and did not like it when I found out that the father I looked up to was stealing from the church. Mostly I was looking for something that was more family oriented. I did not believe in the statutes they had. I wanted to be able to know that I could communicate with Heavenly Father directly. I learned to read the scriptures which we did not do that in Catholic religion.

How I live my faith

I live to the best of my ability in going to church each week, doing my visiting teaching. I make sure my daughter understands why it is important to go to activities and church even when she feels out of place or bored. You have to be part of it if you want to feel part of the church. I don't drink, or smoke or do things that will harm my body. I pay my tithing as best as I can because I know that it will bring blessings when I need them. It makes me happy to live in faith. Yes it is not always easy to do everything but as long as you do your best to get it all accomplished it will be a blessing in your life and the life of your family and your children. It has taught me to be a much better person.
