Hi I'm Kindra

I am a devoted wife & mother. I live my faith everyday. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am a stay at home mommy, I have been married for 12 years as of May 24 2014 and we have 5 children. Our oldest was born June 1999 (she is my stepdaughter), our second oldest was born Dec 2002, our third oldest was born April 2004, our fourth oldest was (only boy) born Oct. 2005 & our last was born Oct. 23 2006. Sadly our last little girl passed away when she was 8 weeks old from SIDS on Dec 18 2006. It took me up until Easter of 2011 to finally accept her death, not be angry anymore and mourn her properly. I know she is safer, happier and beside our Lord. My husband, myself and our oldest daughter were Baptized May 14 2011 and have never been happier. I am a huge animal lover and hope to one day have a lot of property to rescue animals. I collect things that have to do with dolphins and lighthouses, two of my favorite things. I am an open book, I have been through A LOT in my life and have experience in all different types of things that life may throw at you. If anyone is interested to know anything else just ask...

Why I am a Mormon

When I was younger I went through a lot of different things, at 18 I was at my worse. A very good friend of mine had me move out to Utah to stay with her husbands friend until I could get on my feet. Long story short, things got bad and at 18/19 years old I was in four different domestic violence shelters wondering around a state I had nobody in. In my last I met a woman who was LDS, she took me in and set me up. Walking down the street just across the street from Temple Square I saw these two good looking guys walking down the street, needless to say they were Missionaries. Within a month my Baptism date was set up, This was back in Feb 2002. Things went bad with the woman I was living with so I ended up in Missouri with my now husband. It took us a lot of uphill battles and the loss of our daughter but here we are all together nine years later raising our children in the only Church I have ever felt right in. My husband was raised Lutheran, I was raised in an Atheist home, but I knew my whole life there was a God and He was great. Now I am blessed to know of Him and all great things He does. My children will grow up happy and healthy and I would never want anything else for them.

How I live my faith

After our Baptism in California in 2011, we later moved to Idaho. Still being so fresh to it all I loved it. After a year of living in Idaho things went from good to horrible for me. I fell out of the church. It has been the longest year of my life. Feb 5 2013 I stopped going, January 19 2014 my family and I went back. I can promise you there are blessings I never understood until I came back. It took just days for our life to stop crumbling to everything coming together as if my magic. The magic comes from understanding and believing, my favorite quote "Having Faith in the Lord, is Having Faith in His Timing" Only our Heavenly Father knows what is best for us, He knows what is yet to come. Listen for that small still voice, pray daily, ask and you shall see that Jesus Christ is our Savior in all things. I can breath knowing that Jesus Christ loves us. I look forward to doing so much more, going forth in our faith. I am very far from perfect but everyday I strive to be the best I can be. We are holding fast to that Iron Rod to continue on the path to the Temple, to be sealed as a family for I know that one day I will be in the Kingdom of God by my baby girls side. Our Heavenly Father has given us a chance to have our families again in Heaven, I cannot wait to continue raising my daughter.
