Hi I'm Christina

I'm a performer, an oddball, a big dreamer with a vivid imagination, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Asian-Caucasian mutt fluent in American English with the ability to communicate in Chinese to a 3-year old. I make my living playing with babies and often act much too young for my age. Animated, spontaneous, sometimes a little too outspoken. I sing, I act, I drum, I dance, sometimes all at once. I dabble in blogging, scriptwriting, music arranging, and creating stories. Occasionally I try my hand at baking. I love road trips, good music, movies, chocolate, and all things Disney.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Catholic, a Protestant, a Baptist, and a Pentecostal, among many others. I am grateful for the truths I have received from these various faiths which have built an early foundation in preparing me to receive the fully restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. Upon reaching adulthood, I knew that my faith and beliefs had never been established for myself, and I had many questions and concerns that were never quite answered by other faiths, and I needed to find the truth. At this same time, two well-groomed young men in white shirts named "Elder" and "Elder" had been brought to my house with a message for me of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. Though I was less than enthusiastic to speak with them at first, it was not by them that I knew, but by the confirmation of the wonderful feelings I received after praying to know whether or not all that they had taught me was true. I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints when I was 19, and I know that all I learned, and all I am still learning, is true.

How I live my faith

When Jesus Christ was on the earth, he taught of the two greatest commandments: to love the Lord our God with all of our hearts, and to love one another. I show my love to the Lord through studying his words in the scriptures, praying to Him often, and obeying his commandments. I show my love to others through service, whether it be through teaching, listening, giving of my time or resources, random acts of kindness, or simply letting others know I appreciate them. I may not be perfect, and nobody on this earth is, but it is because of the love of the Lord our God, and Jesus Christ, and the love we show each other, that all people are able to grow and live more righteous and fulfilling lives.

Are Mormons Christians?
