Hi I'm Daniel

I'm all heart. I love hugs. I am training for a marathon. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am working and going to school. Majoring in Physical Therapy. I am fluent in spanish and I love life!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. I was always raised knowing and hearing about the church. I never really questioned it's truthfulness growing up. As I got older I really wanted to have the same convicion that everyone else in the church seemed to have. I started to read more and more the Book of Mormon and parayed to know that it was true. God answered my prayer. I didn't see a vision or hear a voice, but the spirit bore witness to my heart and mind that the Church and the Gospel of Jesus Christ were restored through Joseph Smith.

How I live my faith

I just returned from a two year mission for the church in Argentina. It was the best thing I have ever done and recieved the greatest joy and satisfaction immaginable. Now I live my faith by trying to follow the example christ led and serving others. Right now I am trying to share what I know with all my friends and everyone that will listen.

What is the Book of Mormon?

Just as God called prophets in the 'Old World,' He also called prophets in the Americas to lead and guide His children. The Book of Mormon is their story. It is also evidence that God has called a prophet today. Read it, pray about it, and God will tell that it is true. Just be willing to follow the answer that God gives you. Show more Show less

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Then end of the Book of Matthew contains Christ's instruction to "Go ye therefore and teach all nations" (Matthew 28:19). We believe that this commandment is still in full force today. As followers of Jesus Christ, we are expected to preach the Gospel. This is done through a variety of means- full time missions being one of them. So although we are not all required to serve a full-time proselytizing mission, we are expected to share the Gospel as often as we can. Even though this is the expectation, our desire to share the Gospel comes from a genuine love and concern for others. Because we love the Savior and have been so richly blessed by the Gospel, we naturally want others to have the same joy and happiness. Show more Show less
