Hi I'm Suehan

I'm from Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines. I am an active member of the true Church of Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon

About Me

I am Member of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since 1999 and until now I am happy as a member. It happens when two english speaking missionaries had a ride with my stepfather in a trycycle. They started to talk about the restored gospel and set an appointment to visit us in our home. After four years of teaching and observing, we got baptized by Elder Peterson and Elder Concardaz. Now I am enjoying every moment of my membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints. I love the church and its members and leaders. I graduated in seminary and also my institute class. Serve several callings in the church, as the years pass by I found my eternal companion in the church also. She is a wonderful faithful woman of God. We got married in the temple February 28, 2014 and now I am a father of a cute little boy. I found myself strong in the church because of the gospel of Jesus Christ that we applied in our family. We believe on the basic principles that are Family and Personal Prayer, Study and Home Evening helps each member of the church become strong in facing the challenges prepared by adversary. We believe that with obedience and through Christ atonement and His gospel, we with our families will be together eternally.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I know deep in my heart that it is true. It's doctrine teach me how to come back in the God's presence. To be a Mormon is a blessing for me and my family.

How I live my faith

I continued to go to church and do the best I can to keep the commandments of God. Although, there's a bunch of trials in life, I know that there's a God that will help me overcome it. I have my daily personal and family scripture study and prayer. I am always excited to attend church meetings and activities. I enrolled all the course in institute and even though I am a graduate of that class, I am still willing to learn more... I'm always excited to work with full time missionaries and do my home teaching assignments. I magnify my callings in the church and that's what really helps me to with my wife.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Suehan
For me 10% of my income is not a donation to the church it is a gift from God that allows me to be blessed. Paying a full tithe is a commandment of God since the time of old. It is only one of the commandments that Latter-day Saints members do keep and beside that paying a full tithe is one mark of a true convert in the Church of God. And paying a full tithe give's us access to the blessings that there is no rooms to accommodate. Show more Show less
