Hi I'm Allen

I'm a banker and a little league lacrosse coach. My greatest joy is my family...and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have found over the years and as my children grow that my greatest joys are family related. I work hard leading a team of banking professionals. I enjoy the outdoors and relax by playing golf (however, my friends may say otherwise being witnesses of a thrown golf club or two). I love road trips, fishing, and reading good books. I volunteer in my community and church. I find fulfillment in all of those roles. But nothing gives me greater joy than my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon...a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was raised by a mother who taught me to pray and a father who taught me to work. My parent's teachings and example pointed me towards Christ. The teachings of the church helped me develop a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that He lives and that He is our Savior and Redeemer. I know we're all children of a loving Father in Heaven. I know that there's a plan for us and that life doesn't end with death. God speaks today and he speaks to each of us. Our responsibility is to hear Him. Following the teachings of Christ as taught through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has brought me great joy and peace. That's why I'm a member of this Church.

How I live my faith

I believe in the power of faith. I've been blessed in my life with experiences that have strengthened my faith in God. I've learned that as I turn my life over to my Creator and trust in Him, things work out for the best. I've also learned that one the the secrets to happiness is focusing less on ourselves and reaching out to others. That is true religion. That's what Christ taught. And I want to be like Him.
