Hi I'm Jordan

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Canada. Now I live in Arizona. I'm a doctor.

About Me

I am a father of three young children. I work as a surgical resident at a busy downtown hospital. I enjoy working on european cars, lifting weights and playing with my kids. In college I played rugby, but I broke my neck, so I don't do that anymore, although I wish I could.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of The Book of Mormon. I first read it when I was about 16 and ever since then have known that it is true. At times in my life when I may have not been very spiritual, the Book of Mormon has been my pillar and has been stood, for me, as undeniable truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ and God's will for me. Since I know the Book of Mormon to be true, everything else falls into place.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending our weekly church meetings with my family. It can sometimes be a little difficult since we have young children and they are often restless during to meetings, but they enjoy their Sunday school classes, and I know, since I grew up attending the Mormon Church, that those early lessons will stand as a positive base and moral compass for them later in life. That, to me, makes the difficulty of readying three squirmy kids for church on Sunday, worth it for me. At Church I also serve as a teacher to the adult men.
