Hi I'm Heather

I love to quilt, read, organize and travel I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Idaho, I have a great Husband and great children, I have several darling grandchildren. Our family loves to travel, and Disney is one of our favorite locations. As a family we have visited Disneyland, Disney World and Disneyland Paris. I discovered my love for organizing about 10 years ago and want to organinze everything I get my hands on.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon. I had wonderful parents who taught me to love my Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ. Through their guidance I came to know for myself that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ know me personally and love me. My family is so important to me and the Church's focus on the family as help me to navigate the ruff waters that sometimes come in life.

How I live my faith

One of my favorite callings that I have had in the Church is that of a Family History consultant. This allows me to not only discover my roots, and the courageous ancestors that I have, but allows me to help others discover theirs as well. Service is another important part of my life, as a visiting teacher I have been able to help when needed. One of the highlights of my Church experience was to volunteer during the Nauvoo Temple open house. I love the temple and feel a respite from worldly cares there.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

No, The Church has a vast humanitarian program that helps when and where there is a need. I have been able to donate funds and goods to the Church's humanitarian efforts. I have assembled hygene and new born kits to be sent to areas that have been devistated with natural disasters. It's a great feeling to help those that you don't know and who don't know you. The Church answers the Saviors clarion call to love one another. The missionaries of our church engage themselves in community service in the area that they are called to serve in. Show more Show less
