Hi I'm Marshall

I'm a pre-PA college student & CNA, I play rubgy, soccer, longboard, I love playing & listening to chill music, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I longboard, play rugby, soccer, ski, snowboard, I actually love any sports in general. I am also obsessed with music. I am always listening to music and play music whenever possible. over the years i've learned to play the piano, ukelele, trumpet, baritone, guitar, mandolin, and recently the harmonica! (i even have the holder to play Billy Joel/ Neal Young style) In my busy time, I am a full time college student working for my Bachelor's Degree. I have been interested in the medical field for a long time and i want to be an Orthopedic PA (physician's assistant). That's pretty much a bone surgeon of sorts. To get medical field exposure experience, I have become CNA certified and I currently work in an assisted living facility and I get to hang out with grandma's and grandpa's and I love it! I have never had such a fulfilling job, knowing that I can come home knowing that I helped someone. As my other job to make ends meet, I'm also a security guard at a museum and love that as well!

Why I am a Mormon

I love everything that thee teachings of this church has given and still gives me. I haven't always known the church was real and true in every aspect but it came to a point where i had to find out for myself. at which point, I read The Book Of Mormon everyday and prayed and I got an answer that it is true. After I came to have this faith, I wanted to share this happiness with others so I served as a missionary in Oregon. I saw and continue to see miracles of every size confirming that God is there and loves His children-us. I know that the reason that everything good that has happened to me in life isn't just because of this church, but because it is the complete true church. The teachings will bring us home to God with our families. This has helped me to understand God's plan for each of us. It is that very plan that brings me comfort when someone I know and care for passes away. I'm a Mormon because it brings me peace, happiness, and comfort when everything around me is in turmoil. It turns me to my creator and to the people I love.

How I live my faith

I'm a pre-PA college student that will try my hardest at everything. I know that I will not be perfect, but I will keep working on attributes to be the best I can be in the moment. I keep my standards, although at times it can be very difficult or tempting to go away from what I know is true. I work as a CNA in an assisted-living facility and care for many residents. there have been times where the people i have come to know and love pass away. It is during those times that my faith is strengthened and i know that my friends have passed on to the other side and that they are continuing on with God's plan. I find peace in the gospel. I also live my faith by trying to lift others, as Christ did when He was here. "Love as I have loved you". God loves each and every one of us and I know that as i do my best to show love, that i can be an instrument in His hands. At the same time, i do my best to forgive whenever possible. Those are the two greatest ways that I have felt God's love not just for me, but for the people around me. I feel so comforted because i know that i am in no way perfect but i am able to feel His love, knowing that God is proud that I am doing my best. I find that when I feel God's love for me, or His influence in my life, I am able to greater understand His gospel through His prophets. This way I am able to continue on my path, continually progressing.

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

The Holy Ghost is the 3rd member of what we call the Godhead, being God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. He is also reffered to as the Holy Spirit. Part of his role is to help people know of truth and guide us in this life. When we pray to God wanting to know an answer to something or want help to something, He sends the Holy Ghost to help us feel and recognize what we must do in order to return to Him and do what is right. What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

We believe that the Bible is the word of God and testifies that Jesus is the Christ. We do regard it as holy scripture and the word of God but we don't believe it to be the only word of God. The Book Of Mormon (Another Testament of Jesus Christ) is also the word of God and is comparable to the bible-in that it testifies of Christ and supports the Bible. It is not the only book we believe in as many think, the Book of Mormon and the Bible go hand in hand is saying that Jesus is the Christ and is the way of salvation and through him, we can be happy and return to our Father in Heaven.
