Hi I'm Tyler Isenberger

i love the outdoors. i'm a adrenaline junkie, and i'm a mormon!

About Me

For the past few years, its been hard to find my groove so to speak and who i am. iv'e studied avidly about the teachings of christ to better understand my purpose as a child of God. As a kid, iv'e always kind of relied on my parents testimony to get me by. it wasn't until recently when i decided to serve a mission that i finally understood who i was and what a strong testimony of the Savior i already had. i'm from a small town in the flatlands of Georgia where nothing really ever happens. i was first chair trumpet in concert and marching band. One of my favorite things to do other than snowboarding, swimming, hiking and other stuff is to run. i was a distance runner in highschool on the track team. i ran all the 2 mile, 1 mile, and 800. running is my time to relax and ponder about everything, like what i'm going to eat afterwards or why the sky is blue. it dosn't matter to me. pondering unlocks the mind and gets the blood flowing again.

Why I am a Mormon

growing up in a life of poverty, really helped me to openmy eyes a little bit more and realize my surroundings. i had always grown up around the church so i knew like at the age of five pretty much everything there was to know about the gospel, for a child that young. to me, growing up in an environment with six sisters and one brother, it was always a little hard to be spiritual, knowing that you would only get a good quiet day about twice out of every month. it took heavenly father hitting me across the face with a spiritul sludge hammer to help me see just what i had been missing all those years. i know now and will ever know the Jesus Christ is indeed my savior, he does indeed live. my heart will ever be on its knees as i come to understand my maker. i love the scriptures, they do help out in so many ways! its ridiculous. i know that we can in turn live with our families forever in the celestial kingdom. families are forever. my mom told me of a story of a dream she had of her whole family was dressed in white. white is the symbol of purity, it is also the symbol of holy and sacred. life can and will be perpetated beyond the grave. the gospel of Jesus Christ has defined who i am. it has helped choose the roght path in a world where everything seems to go wrong. i have learned to take the road less traveled and it has made everything better. i know that who i am is who God wants me to be, for he knows who i am inside and out. our father is there, he hears and answers our prayers. i know that through all the trials and afflictions and hard times that we WILL have that the father and the son can take it all away and place it on their shoulders. i know that my redeemer lives, my prophet preist and king.

How I live my faith

Before in my home ward, i held alot of different calling. i was the deacons, teachers president and the first assistant to the bishop. which all of that included, different callings in the scouting program. i was the chorister for sacrement meeting and i played the piano for the primary. i have played piano since i was five years old and it has been a blessing for me to be able to bring the spirit into the hearts of all who heard me play. i have had many opportunities to be a leader and with each of those callings, i could see the hand of the Lord touch the hearts of the people i served. in high school everyone new me as the mormon boy. they all knew my standards and what i stood for. each day was a different day, some more than others became so interested in why i was such a good person. to some i wore my heart on my sleeve. i was a friend to everyone, no matter who they were. my mebership in the church has defined my worth and my understanding of happiness and joy. in understand more now than i did before that to find true happiness that i need only to give my whole heart to them, to give service. i live my life day to day with the familiar phrase in my head " have i done ny good in the world today, have I helped anyone in need?" i live my faith as a representative of Jesus Christ throughout every moment in my life. he is our mediator, he is our rock, and w can only in the end become as He is
