Hi I'm Saint-Clair

I'm a Mormon converted to the church and baptized in 2002. I am Brazilian and love any kind of languages.

About Me

I work as an English teacher - I learned English by myself. I got married almost 3 years ago, and have a 2-year-old boy. Learning languages is my hobby. In fact, any kind of learning is relaxing to me. My ultimategoal in life is improving myself and becoming the best person I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I had never been a member of any church before becoming an LDS. It seemed there were some things missing in the churches/religions whose meetings I attended. Then, I met the LDS missionaries. Frankly, I do not remember a lot about the lessons they shared with me - 17-year-old teen full of worries, you know? But what I can say is, I read the Book of Mormon and prayed about it. No angel appeared to me, but gradually I found out by myself that it is true. My whole life is grounded on this firm assurance I have from the Holy Ghost. As a result, I learned by myself, through divine inspiration, that Joseph Smith was indeed called of God as a prophet and did restore the true church of Christ (The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints). From the restored truths which the Lord revealed to us through Joseph Smith I can have real joy and happiness in life - for now I really undertand the importance of Jesus Christ in my eternal existence.

How I live my faith

I help the church members of my city and three other cities - which form a church unit called "Stake" with all kind of matters, whether personal, spiritual, professional and so on. I feel happy for what I have the opportunity to do.
