Hi I'm Sean

I'm an electrical engineer. I enjoy football and wakeboarding. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a senior in college going for my bachelors in electrical engineering. I love any kind of sport or activity. I really enjoy just getting together with friends and having fun whether we are playing soccer or playing cards. I love just having a good time and laughing and joking around.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. I have great parent who love the savior and have firm testimonies in Him and His teachings. They made it a priority to help me understand these things for myself. It wasn't always easy or the most fun thing but I could tell that the things I was doing in going to church and reading the scriptures and just in genreal following Christs example I was becoming a better person. There comes a time for everyone I feel, even someone who was raised in the church like me, that you have to find out on your own whether you truly believe that theses things are true such as the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith being a prophet. I never really had one of those 'aha' moments but a steady building of testimony throughout my life that help me realize that I knew this church and all it stands for is true.

How I live my faith

Growing up I had great examples of what it meant to live what you believe. My parents were always trying to do their part to help others. My mom especially goes out of her way to make sure that people are taken care of whether they are members or not. My dad also was a great example volunteering us for service like helping new members move in. I've tried to follow these great examples by always making myself available to help others. Whenever possible I am there to help people move or clean or just to give a smile, something to try and make someones day a little better. In the ward we have certain families we are to take care of and be there if they need anything. I work hard to make sure to visit at least once a month and whenever they may need something. Being a member of this church and being able to learn about Christ constantly it helps me to see just how merciful He has been to me and how much his life was given in service and motivates me to want to do more for others.
