Hi I'm Brian

First and foremost I am a husband and father of ten wonderful children, I'm a professor of religion and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

The greatest blessing in my life has been family. I am the oldest of ten children and now my wonderful wife and I have been blessed with ten of our own. It certainly keeps us busy, but it is the best kind of busy...the family kind. As a religion teacher (at BYU-Idaho) I have had the wonderful blessing to learn and teach the most important role of family in our Heavenly Father's Plan of Salvation. The family is the central unit in that plan...and in all that happens here on this earth and mine is great!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon first because I was born into the faith, but most importantly I am a Mormon because I have come to know for myself that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer and that through Him and with His help I can truly be happy.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith everyday, but of course some days are easier than others. Both my profession and my ecclesiastical service keep involved in my faith everyday. On campus I get to teach the scriptures (the Bible, Book of Mormon and the Doctrine and Covenants) as well as a course on the religions of the world...all of which has helped me to appreciate just how much our Heavenly Father loves all of his children around the world. As a leader in our church I get to work with, counsel and visit with many of the members in our area. This has also helped me to appreciate God's children. I really enjoy learning and sharing with all of my friends and neighbors.
