Hi I'm Berik

I love my family, I love sports, I'm an Idaho boy and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I belong to the best family in the world, I love to play pretty much every sport possible, I was a little bit of a choir nerd, and i love the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

This is a simple but deep question. I would never be able to name every reason why but here are a few. I was raised mormon from the day i was born but I didn't really understand why I was a mormon up until the last couple of years. Now I know that I am a member of the church because it has brought me true happiness, that is whenever I try to live the way that I know a loving God would want me to and in return i receive the blessing that come from a loving God. I now know that Jesus Christ is my Saviour and that through his teachings, or the gospel that my family has been strengthened and united. Including united as a family for time and all eternity. Simply enough I am a mormon because i love God and I love my family.

How I live my faith

Currently i am serving as a full time missionary in the Minnesota, Minneapolis Mission. Which is something that i have chosen to do. I live my faith each day by trying to become a better person each day through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I do that by excersising my faith in Him by repenting, keeping and making sacred covenants or promises with Him, and by eduring to the end.

Who was Joseph Smith?

Joseph Smith was the first prohet or president of the church from about 1830 to 1844. He was the prophet the Lord called to restored The Church of Jesus Christ in it's fullness today. We have had 15 other prophets since Joseph Smith and we look to these men to receive council from the Lord to help us. It is similar to how the Israelites looked to Moses in the Old Testament. Think of how wonderful it would be to have a man called of God like Moses on the earth today. I know that Joseph Smith was called by God to be a prophet and I know that we have a living prophet today named Thomas S. Monson. Show more Show less
