Hi I'm Micah

I grew up in a little town called Tooele. I'm very happy with the life God has given me. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm your average 20 year old. Well, apart from the fact that I'm 2,000 miles away from home teaching the gospel for two years! I'm currently serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Pennsylvania. I enjoy a lot of things, mainly anything that includes lots of good, happy people having fun! I'm very grateful to be alive and I love the simple things in life. I don't mind doing things the hard way, if that's what is necessary. I ran cross country when I was in high school, and that taught me a lot about diligence and endurance, especially during hard times. I love making new friends and although I'm a little shy at first, I can promise you that I won't be shy after awhile! I also love my family and they mean everything to me!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. So I have been a mormon my whole life. But it wasn't until my mom had me go to EFY, a church affiliated summer camp of sorts, that I truly made my own decision. Before that summer I had never really cared about church or what it meant for me, I just went through the motions. But when I read the Book of Mormon with an open heart and with real intent for the first time in my life, I began to realize what I had been missing my whole life! I knew that if it wasn't for Joseph Smith and his prayer and the Restoration of the gospel, I wouldn't be where I am right now. I don't think any of us would be the same! I love the comfort that this restored gospel gives and I'm especially grateful for the Plan of Salvation. I know that I will be able to live with my family forever with God and His Son, if I am faithful. I know that everyone will have a chance to accept Jesus Christ and his gospel and that we are all children of God.

How I live my faith

Right now I'm serving for two years as a full-time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, (the mormon church). I'm loving the service I have been able to render and the people I have been able to meet. I'm doing my best to share what I know and show love and compassion to everyone I meet, just as the Savior would. I also do my best to keep the promises I have made with God and I'm trying to follow His Son's example everyday. Most importantly I am as positive as can be! The gospel of Jesus Christ helps me be that way.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Little miracles that I experience everyday tell me that there is a God. I have found that the more I ask of Him and show willingness to help Him in His glorious work, the more real He becomes. I have opportunities everyday to change someone's life for the better. And If I'm willing to listen, I have learned that He can show me how to help someone more than I ever could myself. He knows us! He knows YOU. "Seek, and ye shall find..." Show more Show less
