Hi I'm Jojo

I'm a Filipino.I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am Jocelyn popularly known as "Jojo". I have 4 children, 3 boys & 1 girl, ages 21 to 14, married & sealed through eternity to Ildeflor .or :"Tarzan". I love playing sports like badminton or volleyball w/ my kids. Love watching entertaining films & listening to uplifting musics. I love serving other people in every way i can.Just seeing the smile on their faces for me is already very rewarding.

Why I am a Mormon

The best thing I have done in my life was when I,together with my 4 children, followed by my husband a year after became converts.I, who made the first move did not plan for anytuing. It just came & I believe if the Lord calls you nothing is impossible. From then on, my family became more closer. My children know better than before in dealing with unwanted influences because they are more aware of the consequences. Our family before is like a boat sailing in the middle of the sea floating with no direction, letting the waves move where the wind directs us.Now I am so thankful in choosing what is right. We are still in the middle of the sea but there is a great difference for we have now direction as we sail on our lives.I believe God prepares us, his children so that when he calls,we will understand clearly what He wants us to do.

How I live my faith

Sometimes I am into teaching out of school youth but most of the time I am organizing activities in the church with other women that will help us learn new things to make us more productive,I am also blessed to be of service to my fellow women.Serving others make our lives more meaningful even by doing simple things.Listening with all your heart as you comfort a friend who has a problem is an act of service.Caring for a sick neighbor without expecting any return is showing an unconditional love of service. These things makes me more stronger to have faith in theLord.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Mormon women are like any other women who believes that they should always be modest in their appearance, actions & thoughts.Mormon women seek to become righteous in every aspects of life just like any other women who wants to protect their integrity.Yes, we believe that both men and women are equal. They both play a very important role especially in rearing their children. They help each other attain perfection by loving and caring for their family where to some people seems impossible.
