Hi I'm Holly.

I'm a college graduate. I love to travel. I'm grateful to be a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college graduate with a major in Human Development and Family Studies. I love to smile and laugh. My traveling goal is to visit every continent and so far, I have visited North America and Europe. I enjoy reading, running, and watching movies.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am so grateful that I was able to have the standards and teachings of the church in my home. This has helped me to know, even from an early age, God's plan for me and how to be truly happy in life. I have applied the teachings of the church in my life and through these experiences, I have come to a greater appreciation and understanding of the true principles of the gospel. Most importantly though, I have had the confirmation of the Holy Ghost as I have read and prayed that this is THE Church of Jesus Christ restored to the Earth today.

How I live my faith

One of the biggest opportunities I had to live my faith was to serve as a full-time missionary for a year and a half. This experience was such a blessing in my life but it also taught me the greater importance of doing the "little" things every day to live our faith. This includes reading the scriptures and the words of the living prophets, praying every day, attending church, and keeping the commandments. These are truly the things that we need to gain and strengthen our faith.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Holly.
Mormon women are women that understand they are daughters of God. We know we are equally important as men, but we have unique qualities and divine roles in this life. As mothers and wives, we work with our husbands to care for our family, but our main responsibility is to support and nurture our children. I am grateful to be a Mormon woman. For a greater insight, I would recommend reading "The Family A Proclamation to the World." Show more Show less
