Hi I'm Randy

I grew up in Salt Lake City. I teach Spanish at a Veterans' nursing home. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married & have 3 children & our family has 2 cats. I like to camp, hike & bike. I play the piano some. I am interested in electronics, lasers, & holography. I make holograms. I speak English & Spanish. My employment is in the electronic circuit industry.

Why I am a Mormon

I have had experiences that tell me that there is a Supreme Being that has answered specific prayers that I know could not have happened in any other way but through Divine Providence. The Lord has touched my heart with feelings of peace on specific occasions when I have sought Him in prayer. I Know that God lives & that His Son is the Mesiah of the world. These feelings have confirmed to me that God has living prophets on the Earth today & that He has restored the Gospel in its fullness to the Earth through Joseph Smith, Jr., a latter-day prophet. Joseph Smith translated ancient records by the gift & power of God that are a second witness for Jesus. God has restored His priesthood to the earth so that once again all people are able to repent & be baptized by proper authority for the remission of their sins.

How I live my faith

In the community of the Church where I live, I visit the homes of four other families on a monthly basis to see how they are doing & what I needs they have that I can help them with.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Randy
In the 28th chapter of the Gospel of Matthew verses 19 & 20 the Savior told His apostles Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, & of the Son, & of the Holy Ghost Teaching them to observe all things which I have commanded you &, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. For this reason missionaries are sent out to proselyte. Show more Show less
